Expedition 57 crew

UPDATE: Alexey Ovchinin and Nick Hauge will launch again with expedition 59 accompanied by NASA Astronaut Christina Koch. Ovchinin will command during expedition 60.

EXPENDITION 60 COMMANDERAlexey Ovchinin
Alexey Ovchinin from Russia was selected to become a cosmonaut in October 2006. He finished his basic space training in June 2009. He trained as part of the back up crew in 2015 for the Soyuz TMA - 16M crew (expedition 43). His first mission to the ISS was during expedition 47/48 in March 2016. After 172 days in orbit he returned with his crew. He piloted the Soyuz MS-10 with flight engineer Nick Hague for expedition 57 which was aborted mid-flight due to a failed booster.

FLIGHT ENGINEERNick Hague
Nick Hague, from Kansas, was selected in 2013 to become an astronaut with the 21st NASA astronaut class. He completed astronaut candidate training in July 2015 and worked for the International Space Station Operations branch supporting resource planning operations. He was supposed to accompany Russian Cosmonaut Alexey Ovchinin on expedition 57 but the mission was aborted two minutes after launch began.

Expedition 55/56 crew
EXPENDITION 56 CommanderAndrew Feustel
Andrew Feustal is from Michigan who was selected as a NASA astronaut in 2000. He has completed two spaceflights one in 2009 and another in 2011. He served on the final missional to the Hubble Telescope as well as the Space Shuttle Endeavour's final Mission to the international Space Station. He is a part of the expedition 55 crew that launched in March, and became commander of the space station with the arrival of the mission 56 crew in June.

FLIGHT ENGINEERRichard Arnold
Richard Arnold II is from Maryland and was selected by NASA in May 2004. His first mission to space was in 2009 with the STS-119 to deliver the final pair of power-generating solar array wings and a truss element to the space station. He launched with Andrew Feustel and Oleg Artemyev in March 2018 for expedition 55.

FLIGHT ENGINEEROleg Artemyev
Oleg Artemyev is a Russian cosmonaut, he was selected in 2003 to become a cosmonaut. In 2007 and 2009 he became a crew member for the MARS-500 experiment, these studies aimed to learn more about psychological and medical data on the effects of the planned long-term deep space mission. His first launch to the international space station was in 2014 with the expedition 39 crew. He is now apart of expedition 55 with Richard Arnold and Andrew Feustel.
